Puppy socialization
Set your puppy up for success with guided socialization outings. These carefully structured experiences expose your puppy to new environments, sounds, surfaces, and situations during their critical developmental period. My guidance ensures these encounters build confidence rather than create fear.
Socialization service includes:
Personalized exposure plans based on your puppy's temperament
Safe introductions to various environments
Guidance on reading puppy body language
Documentation of experiences for tracking progress
Early positive experiences through proper socialization help prevent common adult dog issues like fear, anxiety, and reactivity. Give your puppy the foundation they need to become a confident, well-adjusted adult dog.
When you book a puppy socialization service with me:
We will agree on a pick-up and drop-off location (this could be your home).
I will spend approximately one-hour with your dog, taking it to one or more locations and exposing your dog at safe distances to the sites, sounds, textures, and smells of the world.
I will allow your dog to watch the world calmly and reward desirable behaviors (we can discuss these before the session), while interacting with me.
I will report back to you what experiences your puppy had and how they felt about them.
I will give you guidance for other experiences to expose your puppy.
I will drop-off a happy and tired doggo.

Each session costs $99. It includes pick-up and drop-off at a mutually agreed upon location and up to an hour of structured socialization time.

Your puppy’s brain is most receptive to new experiences during the ‘critical socialization’ window, which ends at ~16 weeks old. But that doesn’t mean that after 16 weeks old, you’ve missed the opportunity. Dogs continue learning throughout their lives – they may just need more time and patience to build positive associations after the window closes. That being said, I’ll take your puppy out on a socialization experience until they are six months old.

It is important to me to monitor your puppy’s body language closely, and each outing is customized for your precious pup, so I will only take one puppy at a time.
